I unplugged everything from the ups and looked it over and then plugged things back in and they powered up. I then shut them down.

Really annoying that the thing I bought to protect the PJ bulb did the opposite. The unit is 2-3 years old so I don’t think the battery is gone yet. It’s an APC ES 750.

Any ideas? I’m going to buy a good power strip and move everything except the PJ off the UPS and see how It does. Unless someone here has some good advice.

I think a good practice is to replace UPS batteries every two years for continous reliability.

Finally got around to fixing my mistake of not having run Ethernet cable to my rack. I picked up one of these and it seems to work well for my SAT DVR and blu-ray player.

I also received my brown speaker cloth which I'll use to re-cover my sub compartment. It looks much more acoustically transparent than the fabric I have now, similar color as well.

I'm thinking I'll make a small fabric frame and then just screw it to the back of the sub cabinet door instead of stapling it to the back of the door as it is now.

Finally had the opportunity to replace the sub door cloth with the new brown speaker cloth. In the theater the color is pretty close you only notice the difference in the picture below which is direct noon sunlight.

This also shows how bad the wood putty has lightened which really upsets me (not going to sand, re-stain and re-poly though)

New frame I made instead of just stapling it to the door as I did before.

This gives you a comparison of the transparency between the two fabrics. The door above is Acoustimac suede AT fabric below is the speaker cloth

How do you feel about the Ravens draft class this year ?

Defense seems to be well stocked with high round picks. 1st pick on inside lineback, second on a D, and third pick on a safety.

I would have really preferred a OT in the first or second round, but in Ozzie we trust! Also look at what a dominating D and a fair O can do to Peyton Manning? As we did to the Giants in 2000.

I believe a lot of other teams focused on offense allowing some very talented defensive players to fall and Baltimore has always drafted with the best player on the board mentality.

For the past 6 years we have been drafting in the latter part of the rounds and we have done fairly well. That being said our last pro-bowl drafted player was Ray Rice so we are due.

As a friend of mine always says before the season starts, "Hey we are all tied for first place!"

I will be curious to hear your opinion. I have two of those still in box, I never tried them yet.

Everything has arrived so I should be installing Saturday.

Now when I wire the shakers I assume I need to cut off these leads and attach them to the wire I have run to the riser (wire nut I assume)?

Shakers are mounted. I need more seat time to fine tune and before I render a verdict.

It does move my seats a couple inches forward due to where I had to mount them which I didn't like.
