Thinking about how to reduce the light bleed through the top two (now obscured) windows, I could fill them with the same dual layer polystyrene and foam sheets I used for the lower windows but it does seem overkill, has anyone got experience with the silvered/mirrored film you can apply to windows, that might cut out most of the light with much less effort, what do you think?

Well that took all afternoon and as an added benefit it made me realize that only one set of subs was working, that's the last time I bother with phono plugs!

Daddy why is the home theater taking so long?
Because this one tiny cloth panel took over an hour to make!

Further pillar progress.
Just remember, measure twice, cut once, then throw the first one away and start again....

Filled in the last two screen wall windows, trying to decide if in going to replace the temporary screen with another fabric one or just mock up the black panels around it and live with the results until I get the real screen.

Oh, it doubles as a cage for children. That's brilliant!
I'd suggest putting the bars closer together though. Not sure, but I think they still might escape

So, I'm wondering what you are doing with your subwoofer line-level signal.

Was there a specific reason you are using speaker (guessing 14g) wire to carry your line-level signal? This approach undoes all of the benefits of using a coaxial interconnect for no other gain that I can conceive of.

Since I can see that you placed your order through Monoprice was there a reason that you chose not to get one of their subwoofer interconnects?

Because the subwoofer signals aren't line level, the subwoofer amp is made by Episode and is just above the main A/V amp in Rack #1 (it's probably clearer in this shot):
