Sometime progress is so minor that we're the only ones that notice:

Need help & ideas dealing with light coming through the last remaining windows, I've been toying with the idea of tinting them (like you see in cars) but am interested in any other relatively simple ideas:

HT to do:

1) UPS batteries
2) Install screen (ordered 5/3/13)
3) Fabric panels on screen wall
4) Wood slat panels on side walls
5) Last set of speakers
6) Far wall matching stub wall panels
7) Bar lighting
8) Stage lighting
9) Complete Insteon setup
10) Bass trap(s)
11) Bar stools
12) Screen wall curtains.
13) Raise subwoofers by 1 framing width.
14) Sound treat/paint rear wall behind screen.

Well it's getting shorter, at glacial speed admittedly but technically there's progress.

When mine arrived, it was the day we were going to go away for the weekend - but I was eager so as soon as I was off work for the day, I put it together in about three hours before we drove out of town - had to wait until I got back to actually hang it though.

So I've realized I'm going to have to assemble the screen at the other end of the house as I don't have a big enough clear space any closer, I'll also have to add headers to the screen wall from which to hang it so...........
Might be a while wink.gif

Well after a long day the new screen is up, it took a while to remove the old screen etc and it probably would have gone quicker if I'd had a reasonable space to build the screen but overall it went pretty well.

So building the frame took almost 2 hours as the wood is 8' long and the frame is 11'6"

Covering in material took less than 10 minutes......
So, one down, three to go!

Two down, I'm so done with making fabric frames that it's a good job I only need to do two more to finish the screen wall, the chances of fabric panels on the walls are dropping dramatically! wink.gif

The panels for the screen wall took the longest on my build, even though I did them last - so the rest should be easy! biggrin.gif

I've been looking to build a second unraid server.. I've spent hours staring at cases. I'm not sure whether or not to get the hot-swap bays. My current unraid server has worked flawlessly.. I think if there was an issue I could probnably shut'er down, open the case and replace the drive.

What mobo did you use?

It's a supermicro X7DCU:

And it's alive!

I've not transferred the drives from the old unraid yet but it booted first time. smile.gif
