Need some professional advice...I just purchase the Epson 6010 and it's being delivered next week...my new house came with a finished basement and it's a pain to do anything. I already installed 2 Hdmi cables which was a pain in the A$$, but I still need to install a electrical outlet in the ceiling behind the projector, I would think a surge protector and a noise filter would be the best thing to do.. I found this outlet and was wondering if this would work. I'm also tieing into a existing 15amp with 14ga electrical outlet that is 11' to 15' from the projector. Is this a good option the MIW-POWER-PRO-PFP. I'm hoping I can do the electric myself, But if I feel like I can't then I will call in a electrican. Thanks for any help in advance.

Meh. 330v and 546 joules isn't that impressive for the price. Although it does have a second kind of cool.

Compare to leviton 7280 600v and 720 joules for half the price.

Whole house surge coupled with a powerkit and UPS would be the best setup, imho.

ICC Certified.

I would run the power from the same circuit in the same location as your pre/pro to avoid ground loops.
