They haven't arrived yet, so I can't swear for them, but, yes, it's still a strong recommendation.

Wow that IS cheap.

I stopped burning to disc once I got my media server set up. I made .ISOs of everything and then the rare times that I want to watch one, I mount the .ISO on my HTPC and play it. Works well. Just need to spend about 30 minutes to get it more integrated with the frontend software, but that is low priority since I am about the only one using them.

Hey guys, how do you go about burning each of the volumes properly? What software is recommended and steps?? Also, is there a specific Blu Ray I should be using?

Sorry if this has been asked before.

Use imgburn all you have to double click the file you want to burn. That will automatically open imgburn. Than select the burn to discuss option. That easy

What would I have to do to convert the ISO so that it can be moved to a flash drive to play on my PS3?

I downloaded the files for the first disc and converted them using MultiAVCHD and am ready to move them to a flash drive. The second disc is an ISO so I am unsure what to do.

Thanks

I need some help, I downloaded disk 1 from the torrent, not the iso but the individual files, used MultiAVCHD to convert them, put them on a flash drive and inserted it into my PS3. I can see the files and the clips in the stream folder play but I have no audio, not sure what am did wrong.

Thanks

Use MediaInfo to get details about the file. I suspect you didn't mux the audio in, just video.

Just mount the ISO using Daemon Tools or Virtual CloneDrive, then you have full access to the files on the 'disc'...

Not all the files on a disc are playable. Some are created as part of the mastering process. Are you having a problem with ALL the files you have?

Blu-ray (no 'e') burners are fairly inexpensive. $60 or less if you wait for NewEgg to have a good one on sale. Get some blank media (like a 10 pack on 50GB Verbatim at Amazon for $35, or single layer 25GB for less) and you can burn all sorts of demo discs. If you did only larger 50GB discs, that is still just $9.50 per demo disc, and everyone that you do after that just costs less and less per disc.

OK. So some people don't want to drop that much even... I get it. I just mentioned that it isn't horribly expensive.

Don't bother with 25GB unless you're using them for your own backups.

That is what I meant (rewritables). $35 at Amazon.

There are some 25GB demo discs out there, but you are correct and that is why I mentioned the 50GB first. biggrin.gif

I am not very tech savvy with the use of utorrent but I installed it and tried to download the ultimate bass demo disc 1 and it took 14 hours and finished incomplete, parts missing , I started it again but it is even slower than the first try. I must be doing this wrong , any tips would be appreciated, sawz.

You're probably not doing anything wrong, you're just two years too late. ;)

There probably aren't a lot of people seeding, but, if you ask, you may get someone to fire it up for you.

Try downloading something more current.

See my sig for suggestions, just check the dates and activity of the appropriate threads.

Aw man...I'm late to the party too. I haven't yet tried, but I'm betting the torrents are dead now.

Anybody have these available still? Or are able to directly FTP the ISOs?

You're seeding the two torrent files in the very first post, correct?  I'd like to grab a copy too but I'm also late to the party.  :)

I started the download last night from the two links that is on the master thread. You should too. There are about 4 to 5 people seeding each version. I am not done with the download but hopefully by tonight it will be done and i will be seeding this as well. So it is not too late smile.gif

Thanks! that's great!

I guess it's time to turn down the steaming quality on netflix.  I'm already getting fun data overage emails from my ISP and these downloads are not going to help

WHAT!!!  Cox gives me 250GB per month   If I upgrade to their 'Ultimate' package I could get 400GB.

Ouch! I think it's 500gb if you have under 50mbit, and 1TB with 50mbit or faster. They charge $10 for each 50gb extra.
