Those look like the right sizes. I think you might be getting confused with GB vs KB. On my hard drive: ULTIMATE Bass Demo Disc 2 = 45.7 GB = 47,993,408 KB = 49,145,249,792 bytes.

Have you tried burning it to disc yet? It should work.

My curved front ported Classix II

Yes not confused.
Probably should have put in the original that when I tried to burn ( using multiple programs I get "file size to big , not enough space"

Any other ideas ?

What size discs are you using? You should be using 50 GB blank blu-ray discs.

Philips BD-RDL 50GB 6X Double Layer 10 Pack is what I'm using. Costs about $35 at amazon. Works great with my Pioneer BDR-206DBK internal blu ray burner.

As long as it supports dual layer. And, unless you bought it in 2007, it probably does.

May I (once again) recommend getting at least one re-writable.
Much cheaper in the long run than a bunch of coasters.
Something like these:

Instead of burning coasters, you can always try to mount the ISO on your computer first (if using a PC, you can use Daemon-Tools or Virtual CloneDrive), and play with your favorite BD player software (Arcsoft, Cyberlink, etc...).

Thank you so very much, Jindrak. I finally got both demo discs and they are working perfectly. For anyone who might have had issues, here's what I did. Your mileage may vary.

1. Downloaded both demo discs via ********** client. Incidentally, the first demo disk took about 18 hours and the second about 15 hours.

2. I extracted the ISOs using WinRAR. I did not change the directory structure at all. It takes about 45 minutes to extract each ISO.

3. I got myself a 128 GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive from Amazon. Yes, 3.0 USB is compatible with USB 2.0, although the transfer speed is low. In my case it was approximately 23 MB/sec.

4. Copied over the entire directory for the two demo discs without making any changes.

5. Popped in the Flash Drive in my Oppo BDP-103.

6. Used the movie option in Oppo and browsed through the Flash Drive. The files to play are in the Stream sub-directory.

The whole experience with the bass is manna for the soul. Thanks again Jindrak, for your efforts. This is every much appreciated. Would you, Jindrak, accept a small donation via PayPal?

PS. Many others on this thread have mentioned getting a Blu-Ray burner. For the record, I have an older computer without the Blu-Ray drive, and hence I opted for the Flash Drive.

PPS. I noticed that my Oppo does indicate the audio mode(s) for the clips. Some are in DTS HD Master Audio and some are even in Dolby Digital. Fantastic experience all the same.

FYI - The trackers appear to be timing out/unreachable (at least for me). The only seeds/peers I'm connecting with are through DHT, which I normally have disabled. DHT peers are running at about 2MB/s download (16Mbps) for me. Thanks to the seeders!

nickbuol, shpitz and Quicksilv3r like this.

If one is going to make a simplistic assessment of the value of different alignments, it would be that sealed/IB goes the lowest, at the highest cost per dB; horns have the lowest cost per dB at the expense of size, and vented box characteristics lie in between the other two. None is inherently superior across the board, neither is any inherently inferior across the board. The one to use is the one that fits your response and output needs, available space and bank account. -BFM

That's so weird. I'm still getting connection timed out to those trackers. I've even connected to 3rd party VPN to various hops around the world to encrypt my traffic and still no dice. Ah well, at least the DHT is working and I'm seeding Disc 1 and 2 through that.

Ha, I've taken a look now, and it shows 'invalid URL'. Worked a while ago. I guess these trackers are fairly unstable...

It so happens that I don't have Transformers 4. If you'd like to donate it to me, by all means, please do. Although it seems as though interest in this little demo endeavor has waned, so perhaps I should just let the thread go dormant.

-BFM

First off -- thank you for the effort and commitment of putting something like this together. I appreciate your dedication, investment and selflessness on doing something like this.

I think there will always be an interest for demo discs... you share them, we'll get them.

My $0.02... if you ask the community to contribute it helps on the personal cost and the interest, regardless... thank you for sharing.

I know "I" will be downloading.
