Judging by the # of seeders, it looks like vol 3 is the one you should seed.

Each disc is over 40GB, so I doubt many people have enough capacity to host, and I know some of those hosters will limit the amount of data that can be downloaded from that account. So I don't think that's a good idea.

Maybe I should switch what disc I'm seeding every month? bi-monthly? I could just redownload and cycle through them. I don't know.

Question for you all -

I downloaded Ultimate bass vol 3. I'm using Plex and i cant figure out how to get it to play as a single continious file like a movie. Right now its 54 individual clips that are scattered throughout my Movies section. I created a playlist but it still has them in both places.

Is therer anyway to have a movie called Bass vol 3 (or any other name) and have all the files just in there and play as one movie?

Thanks

If anybody would be willing to burn the 3 bass demo volumes onto a couple BR discs and ship them id pay for the materials and shipping. I dont have a BR burner or access to one

Maybe move the actual files to a folder that is not monitored by Plex, and create a playlist that includes all these files? I'm not familiar with plex so I'm just guessing here...

Sort of.
First, use MediaInfo to separate the files into identical audio and video spec categories (i.e., the same aspect ratio, the same encoding, etc.):
https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo
Then use tsMuxeR to join those files together:
http://www.videohelp.com/software/tsMuxeR
I find remuxing to BD format works well for me.
Good luck.

downloading. It'll be done in 2 hours it looks like. It already has 6 seeds though, you shouldn't really have a problem getting it.

If someone wouldn't mind seeding volume 3 for a few hours, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I don't know man. I uploaded 56gigs last night and someone is currently downloading at 1.5MB/s from me. Maybe you have some settings messed up in your torrent client or something?

Yeah, it was my torrent app. Swapped it for a different one and I'm going now. That 1.5MB/s may be me. Thanks!

Make sure you turn on protocol encryption, most of us enforce it and will not accept non-encrypted connections. In uTorrent it's under prefs>b-i-t-t-o-r-r-ent>Protocol Encryption, set outgoing to Enabled or Forced.

I downloaded the first 2 volumes and put them on a 128Gb thumb drive which I plugged into my BD's USB port. Most of the clips have no audio...says its an unsupported format. With the few that do have audio it skips making them all unwatchable. Is there anything I can do to get these to play? I do not have access to a BD burner unfortunately.

oh and a HUGE HUGE thank you for taking all of the time to put these together. It is an amazing accomplishment!

@jedimindcontrol I have 2 suggestions. First see if there's a firmware update for your BD. Probably not going to work, but worth a shot. Second would be to plug a computer into your system via hdmi. I suppose you could re-encode all of the clips and author your own ISO disc, but would likely be more trouble than it's worth. External bluray burners are less than $100. A Roku may also possibly work to play the files if you have one of those.

What BDP do you have? You may want to check to make sure it is capable of playing m2ts files.
You are getting the files from the STREAM folder, right?

Until tomorrow, you can get this for $30:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...d=scsho5458441

or this for $50:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...hEOGpHQUFBQUJ1

I recommend rewritable discs, since BD burning is still part luck and part magic:

I've got a 100/100 fiber Connection but I can't get more than People give. I have seen 12MBps DL at the most but that is rare. Mostly when the seeders are from my side of the Atlantic.

Return of the living bass, part 4. Volume 4 is being assembled. If people are having a hard time downloading the torrent, I also uploaded all 3 to mega, check the first post.
nickbuol, Randybw1, Keenan and 4 others like this.

If one is going to make a simplistic assessment of the value of different alignments, it would be that sealed/IB goes the lowest, at the highest cost per dB; horns have the lowest cost per dB at the expense of size, and vented box characteristics lie in between the other two. None is inherently superior across the board, neither is any inherently inferior across the board. The one to use is the one that fits your response and output needs, available space and bank account. -BFM

Super excited to download the latest one (vol 4) and add to my collection of demo discs, so I am not complaining, just pointing it out that it looks like the MEGA links aren't valid any longer for the previous 3.
