I am sure this is not an easy question to answer, but what are the rules of thumb to design your theater to minimize impacts of dead zones? I have a rectangular room 13' x 22'. my screen in roughly 2' 4" from the back wall and on a false wall. My first listening area is 13' from the screen. The projector is mounted at 19'6" from the false wall (not that this matters with audio).
Based on my room the center of the room is approximately 4' in front of the listener. Should I be ok? To be more precise the wall with the projector has 3' champhers in them, so the room is really 5 sided and not square.
Any advice would be appreciated.
