Does anyone know of a good 3D rendering service. Once my plan is completely finalized I would like to get some 3D stills. I have found a few but were very expensive. Thanks.

SketchUp and SweettHome3D are both free, and work well.

Here's an example of SweettHome3D. I found it much easier to use.

Hi!

I do SketchUp as a hobby only. And can only do as much, unlike those professionally rendered stills. If you want I'd do it for free assuming that you have complete specifications along with colors, etc.

Dave,
I'm Curious as to what kind of pricing you got and what the service entailed. I did my own 3D renders and know how long it takes so I can imagine why the price would be high.

Hey Mario-

Yes I have seen yours, and they are top notch. The first company that I found quoted me at 500.00 per still image. That is one view from one spot in the room. No discount on multiple views. I asked about an option of having a 360 degree capable image and that was 1595.00 I believe. I know how much time and skill goes into this I just could'nt afford to drop almost 2k on an image. I have read from several places that when you are working from a 3D mock up, you will get the most out of your project and make more impressive changes along the way. I will keep looking as it is something that I believe will really help me out.

I may be wrong, but I believe Roger meant to type Sweet Home 3D not smarthome3d.
