Hello, welcome into my AVworld, I have been interested in sound and vision since I was only 3-4years old, have had it as a hobby since 10 years of age. The first surround setup I had was in 1989, it was not very good but it was surround Since then I have had many different setups, I've always wanted a system that could play all I wanted of sound but never had the space to it. When I moved 3 years ago had to have space to house such a system. Is this system I want to share information with you about.

My system is:
Processor: Sherbourn PT-7020A
Power amplifiers: 7 x Crown I-Tech4000 + 2 x Crown I-Tech8000
Speakers Front / Center: DIY by BEF, Tangen AVdesign inConcert Miles
Surround speakers: DIY by BEF, Beyma 15P80Nd + ribbon tweeter TPL150H
Sub: DIY by BEF 6 x 18 " front + 2 x 18" back Beyma 18W1600NdE

Blu-ray: Oppo BDP-95
Projector: Sony VPL-VW95
Screen: Dream Screen V4 ProCurve HD 16:9 265cm / 120 "

Power: Monster HTS5100
Cables: All cables used are from Monster

This is the start of the project, there was a large basement with nothing in it, in the house. I made my workshop and it will be home theater.

The next step in my process is to look at the acoustics of the room. I have chosen to go for the skyline diffusers in the ceiling with integrated lighting.

Wow. Fabulous job! Just crazy speakers...

I have a question about the wall construction. It looks like the framing is dry-walled on both sides. Doesn't that create a triple leaf problem?

Cheers.

Wow, great looking HT room.

Your speakers look amazing.... very nice.

In the first pic where everything looks blue, is that from the lighting or did you enhance the picture to give it that cool affect? Either way, Bravo.

You can easily get that problem. I have a distance of 22mm from all surfaces of the walls and ceiling, with this distance I primarily prevents this problem and the room is even better soundproofed.

The next step in my process was to go all black and not reflection of light in the ceiling. I use a special substance to this, the fabric is glued to the ceiling.

I suspect I know the answer (price) but was there a reason you didn't go with them for your theater?

It is absolutely right, ADAM Tensor Delta. I thought ADAM fore long time as the speaker for home theateret, but they dont gave me the huge dynamics i wanted the speaker system.
