A while back, someone had posted a picture of a riser/stage diagram - a drawing showing the components of what goes into the build. I thought I had subscribed to the thread that had that picture, but now I can't seem to find it. Does anyone have a link or the picture itself?

You're welcome. And as a tip for anyone - when I found this image for blipszyc, it was posted by another AVS forum member (one of many to post it, I'm sure - dc_pilgrim) and hosted in his photobucket account. So I just saved it to my own photobucket account. Now I don't have to remember where it's posted.

Stage and risers aren't built the same, which one are you doing?

That pic is very much a stage only

Eventually I need to do both. I'll be doing sand in the stage and insulation in the riser. I was more interested in a couple of specific items:
  • 15 or 30 lb roofing felt under the whole structure and between OSB layers?
  • Distance from walls
  • Plastic or no plastic for sand.
