I think I need to hear a quality room before I keep working on making mine sound "better" when I don't even know what better is. I would like to demo a room that has kick butt LFE (relatively flat with low extension) and is acoustically treated properly (great surround field and front stage imaging), plus, double rows of seating would be icing on the cake!

I live in 06082, 10 min from Springfield Ma and 30 min from Hartford CT smile.gif

P.S. You're also welcome, any time, to come here and demo mine for comparison against yours, offering ideas and tips for me as well wink.gif

Mine is getting closer Chris. I haven't run REW in a while, but can if you are coming. I want to get rear wall absorption up in the next day or do.

Can't help you with a local demo, but you are close to my old stomping grounds. I grew up across the border in Monson MA.

Too bad ... a trip to Houston or LA would be an eye opener.

Thanks Andreas, maybe I'll take a trip out to you in the beginnind weeks of September smile.gif

Dennis, it would be an eye opener I'm sure, but then envy would kick in and knowing that I can't have what I just experienced, my theater will feel like a pointless journey that I took. Am I wrong?

Ben (Esquire theater) is about 10 minutes from me too. I'm sure he would be willing to let you hear his theater. It sounds really good and he has a DTS-10.
