Hi all. I'm new here so please take it easy on me. smile.gif

Redoing all the floors in my living room and thus have a chance to do some rewiring and move my TV on the wall now.
Plan is to have the TV on the wall, beneath it a low profile stand. Speakers on the corners of the stand, center in the middle, and sub to the side. Pioneer Elite powering everthing in the stand.
Now as far as wiring......my plan was to just do 1 cat5e run and 1 coax (which is what i currently had). Should I continue with this.......or how should I further future-proof my setup (ie: more cat 5e runs, etc...).

Any tips are much appreciated before its too late!

Thanks!

Are you talking about wiring FROM the receiver TO the TV only hanging on a mount on the wall? Or are you talking about running everything in wall?

Do you feel comfortable running power?

Sorry. Let me rephrase a little. I am more or less concerned about cat5e from the router (which is at the opposite end of the house in the basement). Is one run sufficient?
