If you really want a more functional menu you could reauthor the clips yourself using MultiAVCHD and selectin a different type of menu... That would probably be the easiest alternative to get a more reliable disc -- Not as pretty but reliable.

Well I don't really mind the menus much. I love the look and feel of the Ref 2 menus, but as I'm going the HTPC way, renaming the streams is the simplest option by far. Someone in Jinkdrak's Ultimate Bass thread suggested uploading artwork and metadata to the scraper services so that XBMC could recognize the clips as part of the demo disk and provide an interesting background image and correct title. The same could be done with the Reference discs I guess but I'm not sure what is required for this to work.

Am and have been. You're welcome.

And welcome to AVS.

Please go back to the first few posts and make sure you're doing everything properly.

If it still isn't working, be more specific about the problem you're having.

I will appreciate if someone can seed the download as at this time it is taking too much time to download as only three people are seeding.
Thanks in advance.

I was going over the disc to burn some copies ... I just realized that the torrent file was the wrong intended file.

I had author two different top menus. One that has the Bjorn's logo and another one with out it. The Bjorn's logo was created to give that specific copy to the guys at the store, since that's where we did our test. The non logo top menu was intended to be the final copy. Well.... I just realized that the logo copy is the one that is out there. I hope Bjorn's is getting some exposure this way, its a great place to check out the newest A/V technologies.

There are some copies with out the logo, so if you have one with out the logo... you are one of the few.

If there is an interest I could made available the non logo top menu.

I was trying to create a new BD for someone and I 'bricked/coastered' two BD's mad.gif

I was getting some I/O Error that I had never seend before. I am pretty sure my BD writer is still fine, although not sure how I would tell otherwise. So I have ordered some new RW 50GB DL discs so that I hope I will no make anymore coasters. I uninstalled IngBurn and reinstalled and that did not help

I don't have the error message, but anyone else have any similar issues? The first BD I made I had no issues with.

Always recommended to have at least one BD-RE. After your first coaster you could had tried the BD-RE to make sure the writer is working as it should.
Well worth the $15 - 25. Granted now a days one can get BD50 for $2 - 3 on a spindle.

I've had no trouble burning any of the demo discs.

I still cant get the Blue cover art label to print in good quality, it is smaller than a bluray cover actually is, so when my printing software expands the size to the proper cover size, the text becomes very blurry. The white cover art label works good. if you look at the file sizes of the 2 images, the blue one is 86 kilobytes, where as the white label is 1.1 megabytes. Is there a different hi-res image of the blue cover art somewhere?

This is approximately what it looks like after printing.

Thanks in advance

It will play just fine. The disks are authored completely like a retail Bluray so it will play on the PS3 with no issues.

I havent burned a coaster yet with the Ridata 50gb discs from Microcenter. They arent cheap though, but they have a printable label face if you want to print the labels directly on the discs themselves if you have a printer that can do disc printing.

I used to use one of those paper CD Stompers, but I dont like the idea of a disc with a piece of paper stuck on it spinning at a couple thousand RPM sitting a foot from my leg.

Heres a link to the discs from Microcenter, they can be bought online. http://www.microcenter.com/product/404269/Hub_Printable_Blu-Ray_BD-R_DL_4X_50GB_15_Pack

I use ImgBurn for the Blurays, but I like Nero for burning DVD's or CD's. I have an LG Bluray burner on my main pc that came with a whole shovelware/software suite for burning Blurays but I didnt even install that. If I burn a DVD or CD I do it on my other computer.
