Some torrent programs automatically restart. You can see if there's a logo in the toolbar, or run Task Manager.
Try playing the m2ts files with VLC:

This is usually a given, but also make sure that you have updated codecs. Media Player Classic, plays most all files I throw at it, but I use a robust codec pack in order to achieve this.

Nothing happens when I use the VLC to play any of the .m2ts files in the "best of disc" stream folder.

Please describe your system (computer and playback, if they're not the same).
You probably could have gotten a copy at Gorilla's GTG (no, I wasn't there).
In the meantime, you may want to start redownloading the disc; it sounds like something's really messed up.

Is there a step by step instruction for downloading torrent files? Mine must be corrupted or never did download entirely and I really don't know the correct process.

I have a I5-3570K, 3.4Ghz, with a 120 gig SSD and a 500 gig regular drive and 8 gig of memory w/ Windows 7 Home Premium and a Radeon HD 7850 card.

I would ask one of the GTG guys for a disk, but I want to see if I can do this myself, but I am starting to think it is beyond my capabilities. Plus I have Sony and panasonic BD players, so I have a lot going against me!

Thanks

Ignore my last. It's now seeding and assuming I'm able to download it all I'll continue seeding for a few days.

I know I have the original zip file somewhere, I got the torrent link, but cant find the file.

Michael, would you happen to have the file handy? If so could you email it or seed it? I'll get out one of the external drives where I think was stored for backup.

It occurs to me (still at work) that the referenced file isn't a torrent, it's just a zip file.
What do you get when you unzip it, blu?
Or is it not there at all, which is certainly possible after the last forum "upgrade."
I'm pretty sure I don't have it, in any event, but I'll look later.

The zip file that I have, once unzipped is the torrent link -- not "your" actual zip file. If I remember correctly I made a torrent link from your zip file. I remember your zip file being to large, even as a zip file to be posted directly on the forum... But after two years... I could be wrong.

I have the zip file-- just need to find it

I don't have anything.
Sorry.

Too many rebuilds of the HTPC between then and now.

Besides, we have to get ready for the NEXT one.

Curious. I just bought a blu Ray burner (Mac user).

What is the most reliable burning software?

Thanks!

Has there been a new and updated BD completed under a different thread? Just curious when/if another great demo disk is on its way.
