i just wall mounted my 64 plasmas weighs no more than 80lbs. this is my first time and had a friend come over to help me that has never mounted a tv either. i saw a lot of videos on how to mount the tv and got a good general concept. Just wondering my apartment building you were basically able to see the part of the wall that the stud we drilled to the right screws of the wall plate. Both screws felt tight when screwing in but not as tight as the left screws on the left stud we use on the wall plate, which worried me. when we actually hung the tv the right side wall plate has a little gap from the wall while the left side is flush against the wall. before installing the tv to the wall i actually hung on the bracket because it says it will hold up to 130lbs which i weigh just about.... i know I'm small don't judge me... but back to my concern of should i take my tv off the wall and redo the drilling of the wall plate in another location maybe right under the other screw holes that its hung by right now? fyi i think previous owners wall mounted their tv as well because the stud that we use for the right screws on the wall plate had 4 holes in a square about a inch apart so Im wondering if they had a difficult time finding the perfect place to drill in the screws. Just worried that when i wake up one day and find my tv completely broken on my media center. One last question is i would think the tv would have fallen by now if it was installed incorrectly, it has been up for about 12 hours now.
