Do you have the latest firmware?

http://www3.jvckenwood.com/english/support/bd/xv-bp1/index.html

Some BDPs are particular about the brand of DVD-DL.

Burning the disc at a slow speed can help.

Keep us posted.

"Mirror"?

They are the same tracks, some cut to fit.

Just wondered if the audio was hopped up for demo purposes.

Nope. They're used for demo purposes because they're already hopped up. :D

I seem to have the same problem with certain clips stuttering and cutting out. I am using a PS4. The Iron Man, Looper, Return of the King all pop and stutter. I tried burning at the slowest speed but same thing.
Is it the PS4 just not being compatible? Or anyone have another idea?
Thanks
H

As with all of these demo discs that are in BD folder structure format, first thanks for making it this way - it's much easier to download individual demo files if I don't need the whole thing - but, about that, (I didn't see this when scanning the thread) it would be nice if you included a list of the m2ts filenames matched up with the demo scene name. I had to guess based on file size.

Since I downloaded all of them to find the one I wanted, here's the helpful list I requested, as listed in the BDMV/STREAM folder:

00002.m2ts = Art of Flight - Alaska

00003.m2ts = Black Hawk Down - Irene

00004.m2ts = Dolby Intro - Spheres

00005.m2ts = Flight of the Phoenix - Landing

00006.m2ts = Iron Man - Jericho

00007.m2ts = Looper - Farmhouse

00008.m2ts = Return of the King - Pelennor Fields

00009.m2ts = Master and Commander - Battle

00010.m2ts = Finding Nemo - Darla

00011.m2ts = Snow White & The Huntsman - Castle

00012.m2ts = THX Intro - Amazing Life

00013.m2ts = War of the Worlds - Pods

00014.m2ts = Super 8 - Production Value

00015.m2ts = Thor - Ice Monster
LastButNotLeast and laugsbach like this.

Cool, perhaps Michael would edit the first post and include the above.

I am having audio issues with the War of the Worlds and Dolby Spheres clips. Right at the end, the audio drops on the Dolby clip. And a few seconds into WOW, the adio drops and it appears that its dropping frames, almost as if the clip is going in slow motion. Anyone else have this issue?

It depends on the disc and the player.
Have you tried the disc in a dedicated BD player?
Have you burned the same brand of discs before?

It's a guest but I think those clip might be hitting the transfer rate limit of DVD, depending on how fast a player can make it spin.

It doesn't play at all in my Panny BD player. And it's the same brand I always use, Verbatum.

Sounds like it might just be a bad burn. I hate to recommend trying again at a slower burn speed, but that's my suggestion (besides my usual "Buy a rewritable" song and dance).
Good luck.
