I've been toying with ideas on how to distribute media across the home its caused me no end of headaches just thinking about it so planning is now going to be harder.
I need to ask if running a hdmi extender into an av receiver will work OK or not?
I intended to connect 5 devices into a network ready av receiver and have the ability to control it via a remote. I've read some issues with EDID etc and im a bit worried now that this might not work?
I've also looked into a hdmi matrix over cat6 but if I can help it I don't want to spend on that just yet. I have already put in cat6 cables ready for it if I have to go that route.
I have purchased a dual cat6 hdmi extender and I haven't got around to testing it yet but should the method work or not? Thanks guys
