not sure sorry, in imgburn under options here is what mine is set too (never touched the settings and it's never had a problem burning a blu-ray so i assume they are correct )
data type MODE1/2048
file system UDF
UDF revision 2.50
then i just go to mode, build
and drag the 2 certificate and bdmv folders onto the source window

Any luck yet with the torrent link?

Still can't download the whole file with the other link after a week.

We all need to sit back, relax and enjoy a favorite beverage or two. The creator of this compilation stated no more than two days ago (post #47 ) that he is adding more clips to the image before he makes the torrent available. This thread isn't all that big that we can't just read the whole thing from start to finish in less than fifteen minutes. If this is anything like any of the other demo compilations I've found on AVS then it will be worth the wait.

This disk is a very good compilation of 3D clips. The only problem I have with the disk is that
Chapter selection doesn't work on my Panasonic 3D player. When I select a chapter and try to play it,
the player freezes and I have to physically unplug the player and re-boot to even get the disk out of the tray.
On the otherhand without chapter selection it plays on it's own starting from the main menu.
I can also skip chapters while playing so not a deal breaker.

Then let's just wait for the torrent.
Please also keep in mind that the initial seed of a file this large takes DAYS.
Stay tuned.

The Certificate folder is actually empty.
However, when you add the BDMV folder to imgburn, it should ask if you want it to create a Certificate folder. If it doesn't, you're probably doing something wrong.

Thanks for doing this PJVader - the disk is very cool.

I fought with the mega download site for awhile, installed firefox and fought some more but it finally gave-in and worked. I did the zip download, extracted the files to a new folder - which had BDMV & Certificate sub-folders - browsed to that folder from Imgburn and it worked fine

Yes, write files/folders to disc. Drag the whole BMDV folder, it will ask to add a certificate folder.

I don't know, I'm not home. If you don't get help from someone before Tuesday, I'll check it out and let you know (but it's done it for years, so I can't imagine the version matters).
Can someone else chip in, here?

Bori, the Certificate folder is actually empty if you check the contents of the download. Why don't you just create an empty folder for imgburn to burn on the BD? Wouldn't that solve the problem?

I am not sure if that works. It seems when I try to burn with DVDFab it fails. When using imgburn all I get is a data disc with 2d video. I don't want to keep wasting BDs.

thanks guys(and maybe gals!) i just completed a render of the disc been trying solidly since i last posted (seems one pesky clip was the problem!) it has now rendered and i'm burning it to disc to try it on the players (got a US ps3 and a UK ps4 to add to the list of players i can try it on)
fingers crossed if it plays ok ill up the torrent 2mrw (sunday)
so if you are trying to download i would wait for the new version to drop as it has more clips added

i had the same problems with my panasonics too (110+310) i think i mentioned it in the initial post as a warning to other panasonic owners
works fine if you start it and then chapter skip but it's not keen on selecting a clip from the menu, lets see how the new version goes! fingers crossed

where does it say it's a data disc? on the ps3? i always burn to a re-writable blu-ray first as i have made one too many coasters like yourself (i learned the hard way with that one unfortunately) 25gb ones as some players don't like the 50gb ones
you could try uninstalling imgburn and reinstalling it, i have never had a problem with it burning blu-rays and it's only ever been installed then used i have never touched the settings
usually if you put the BDMV folder in the imgburn window it will ask if you want to create a CERTIFICATE folder too (no idea what it's for but it's always empty!)
should just be the 2 folders nothing else
hope that helps

What does the disc look like on your computer? It should look just like any commercial BD in structure.
My other thought is to make sure imgburn is set for UDF 2.50.
And, yes, I've been recommending re-writables for years.

It was off an old lg demo (USB stick)
Most of there demo material was eye popping (literally!) most of there stuff was "poke u in the eye" specials which used to sell the tv's them dissapoint the customers as there are hardly any tv/movies out there with the same pop out effect that they saw on the store!

This is a comment for the discussion and not a complaint:

I can't get it to work on my Panasonic BDT-320 either. I copied the files to a USB HDD, and the player can see it - but it plays in 2D without sound as mentioned above. The PS3 can't see the drive because it isn't FAT32. I tried to copy the files to a 320-gig FAT32 drive, but it says the first m2ts file is too large for that file format. Ahh!

I'm out of BD-R discs, so I'll have to wait a couple of days to try it again. But I added this in case others with the Panasonic players see this behavior as well.

I do appreciate the effort, pjvader. This will be great! I watched part of the 2D clips to build the excitement anyway, so I'm really looking forward to the final finished product.
