Question door handle needed for a sound proof door 3-1/4" thick

I took the advise of those here and had doors made double thickness with mdf in between with green glue in between all the layers. The door company did a great job but now we can not find any hardware to fit doors that are 3-1/4" thick. Please help. I work for a company that makes cutting tools so i can machine extension parts if needed but would rather just be able to buy them if I could.
My wish list would to have a single handle that is keyed for privacy but i can't find anything.

If you have any suggestions, that would be great. Should I get a mortised lock? Is that easier to make extensions for? What is the best for sound proofing?
