Living room surround sound whole house radio.

We are having a house build it is 2700 sq ft. My living room is 15x 20' my tv will be mounted on the 20' wall so the distance from my front speakers to my rear speakers will be 15'. I bought my recessed speakers from monoprice. My TV is going is be mounted about 4' high at least that is where they are mounting the outlet. I plan to center the front speakers at around the tv like everybody does.

I was originally going to just do a 5.1 set up. How can I do a 7.1 set up with recessed speaker.

My question is how high do i mount my rear speakers? I figure the same height as my front speakers.

Also to do 7.1 can I mount my speakers in the ceiling? How will this work with 9' ceilings?

Thank You

Anybody?

Here is the layout of my living room. The TV will be opposite to the Windows. The couch will be spaced off the windows a few feet the wife wants walking room behind it.

What are some opinions on the speakers in the ceiling and where is a good location for them? My rear surround will have to be to the out side of the windows .
