Isn't it enough to be Loganed let alone Doublewinged?? Or is being Doublewinged the opposite of being Loganed? And if that's the case I think I need more than DOUBLEwinged....maybe KILOwinged?

@Mfusick - The theater updates will be coming, my friend!

It's weird sometimes when you check in at the forums at don't see the posters you're expecting, or the threads you want to see updated go quiet.

Unfortunately Tim has been doing continuous laps around North America and Europe the last couple of months, including some weekends. Hard to work on the theater from thousands of miles away!

Well, it's all part of my personal quest to have the world's best theater in storage.

I picked up on a third since Atmos speakers came into play and since I picked up on the Procella P10si balancing subwoofers. Channel count as follows:

6 channels for three P610 L/C/R
6 channels for three pairs of P6 sides
2 channels for one pair of P6 rears
4 channels for two pairs of P6iw speakers (ceiling Atmos)
3 channels for P10si balancing subwoofers

This will put me at 11.1.4 for 3D audio.

I need to update the list because I also picked up on a pair of these monsters and some other automation equipment.

You still have the UXL subs too right?

So (2) 24" and (4) 18" ?

Yup... that is kind of kick ass. Well done.

Nice. Are you still going to try to get all that into two racks?

Yes, although I've had to reconsider what equipment goes in the rack and what can be reasonably offloaded into another part of our home. Having the family room Marantz SR-6008 receiver move to the family room AV cabinet instead of the rack frees up 6U (including ventilation). Shifting the two separate 3U Sonance subwoofer amps (+1U ventilation each) into a single 1u or 2u rack-mount amp with front-to-back ventilation frees up another 6U or 7U. Going to the new DirecTV Genie vs. my current yields another 1U.

There are a few other tricks I have up my sleeve to consolidate, but there's no doubt it is very tight for such a large theater and so many zones of distributed audio and video.
