Gotham Cinema

After a recent brutal work travel schedule I finally have time to post pics of my room.
I moved into my new home last October. One of the stipulations between the wife and I was that I HAD to have space for a dedicated theater room. No compromising on that one. Thankfully I got my wish! Construction of my first dedicated room began 11/1/14. It was a 4th bedroom on the 2nd floor that measured 13' x 19'. Had one window, a closet, and a bathroom. Thanks to you guys and all the info in this forum I made my wish come true!
Unfortunately, I can't locate my "before" pics. So i will have to just show you the finished product.
Equipment: 106" DaLite fixed frame HD progressive 1.1
Black ceiling, screen wall and rear (mouse ears), dark grey side walls.
4 leather power theater seats (3 coaster and 1 palliser)
JVC RS55 courtesy of @zombie10k
Tempest Fusion 10 fronts, Volt 10 surrounds, 2 in ceiling rear surrounds, eD A7-450 Sub.
In rack: Marantz 7008-Dune HD base 3-Chromebox running Kodi-Zappiti 4k-4 bay NAS-Lenovo t410s laptop-Dell Studio Hybrid 140g (for movie poster software)-DarbeeVision DVP-5000- wireless router bridged to my main wireless network on the first floor.
LED strip lights for stairs and seating
32" 1080p LCD mounted in portrait mode for digital movie posters. The light strip and poster screen activated by motion detectors.
Great Northern 8oz popcorn machine
(upcoming modification - adding Hue lighting
And most importantly - a very happy family of movie fanatics!

EDIT: There are LED lights on both sides of the stairs. The left side lights up when the sensor is tripped at the foot of the stairs, and the right side lights up when someone exists the room. In other words, one side lights up to guide the way up, and the other side lights up to guide the way down.

Wow, it looks great! Congratulations! I really like the platform for the seats and the overall look of the room.

If in the future you are considering black carpet, check out the black out thread in the 3K+ projector forum, I posted the specific carpet I just installed last year. It's very dark and looks amazing.

enjoy the room!!
