I want to change my 20 year old theater

The Equipment has changed over the years obviously but the room has
been pretty much the same since I built it in 1996.
Never thought I would have the same look for so long.
I have no Idea what to do. Color ??? I'd like to keep it dark but move away
from the current green. I'm not sure anything else will work as well.
Would love some opinions on what I could/should do.

Thanks.

Deep reds or browns. Like a black cherry perhaps. But I may be biased.

I don't think blue or blacks will match well...

Yours looks very good in that color combination. Something like that could work for me.
I wish I had your ceiling height.
Thanks, for sharing.

Ever consider fabric walls? Or sections of fabric walls? Bring some texture into the space...
The green looks to go dark, and it might be a fresh look, while retaining some of the green.
I actually like the green and it's quite unique. The door could be painted a different color.

Ever consider a digital movie poster light box project or two?

Ever consider marble tile for the flooring in the lobby area?

I don't know about the room depth, but I have to wonder if a larger screen might be an update? And maybe
a DIY AT screen might be a possibility.

Medium red would work. Fabric would help with the acoustics since you don't have treatments.

I went with white/black and battleship-blue color tones. To each their own.
I have zero projector screen reflection-issues with these colors, it makes for a dark room though.

I was also thinking red, but everyone does red...
