Mostly a lurker here but I've begun the preliminary planning stages for a dedicated HT. I must say that your room looks great and is the initial inspiration for my future room.

Keep up the good work!

Looking good Patrick! The trim work really came out nice. How much longer do you think it will take to wrap it up now?

Looking great!

Remember, when the family shows up, just keep the lights dimmed. All that last minute stuff that you couldn't finish will never be seen. Hell, most people wouldn't notice with the lights full up. I still have things I want to finish better - just haven't gotten around to.

Have fun!

Excellent job. Very nice clean look. When I was doing mine, we had several of those 'pushes'. They can really drain you.

When you sit down with the family and enjoy it, it will all be worth it.

Well, all the family is coming down from chicago, so I am sure the Bears game will be on in the afternoon. I also rented Elf, Van Helsing (not for the kids!) and I think I should be getting the new Harry Potter today in the mail.

Great looking theater. Congrats
It seems that your timing was perfect too.

Patrick - looks great.
I had a couple questions...
Did the trim already come in black, or did you paint it?
Why did you cover your proscenium with MDF first and then GOM, why not just GOM?
