Nice screen! The chairs look really good. I am glad you fixed the seats, that would of really bothered me from afar. I know, I know, anal runs rampant in this forum.

I put it at a slight angle...but I tested a sample of SMX with several sources into the projector and I could not get it to moire at any angle.
Here are some shots at the edge of the screen to show the angle.

Yeah... the seats would have bothered me as well.... and at least no one has started a construction thread called "The Anal Theater"

Hey everyone.... Sorry for the delay. The news biz has been kind of crazy lately and everything with the theater has kind of slowed down because of my busy schedule. TV is doing more with less and that coupled with flip-flopping schedules and my freelance video has been leaving me with little time to work on the theater (although it does work :-). I still have some cosmetics to finish and I have moved rear speaker placement (but have not yet run new wires.)

On that note.... I actually have taken the opportunity to get out of TV news and have taken a position that will really be a part of helping people in these economic times and beyond. Many of you have probably heard of Dave Ramsey on the radio or have seen him on Fox Business. Starting the 16th, I will be working for Dave's creative team as "Video Specialist." Basically Dave teaches common sense and motivates people to get out of debt and live on what you make. I have followed his advice for a long time and it really does work. If you are debt free, the world looks different :-) If you are debt free, you can help people in need rather than paying on your car or credit card each month. If you are debt free, you can retire with dignity. Dave also has a class called "Financial Peace University" that is put on at churches all over the country.

Check out his site at http://www.daveramsey.com and also his Personal Economy link.

Here is a LINK to a blog with some pics of where I will be working.

I love the fact that my work will have a true mission and as they put it ... "Articulate HOPE." I also love that this move will afford me more family (and theatre :-) time!

So hopefully I will get back in to the mix of things soon and catch up on everyone's build and I'm sure thousands of new builds on the forum!

TTYL,
Cam

Welcome back Cam. Congrats on the new gig. I don't agree 100% with Ramsey, but I am a fan. I am sure they will put your talents to good work, and good works.

Dave

Congrats on the job. Dave isn't in our market, but I have listened online.

Congrats on the new job... took a look at the "Creative Space" you will be working in, looks like a nice work environment. Maybe not as nice as that work area in the back of your theater though...

So did you marry that cute Vietnamese girl?
