Very, very nice. I love the attention to detail. Have you done a frequency graph on your subs? I'd be curious to see how they perform in there.

Thanks! I really enjoyed building it. I am looking for something else to build. Being "finished" isn't as fun as I thought

I know the feeling. I tore apart my completed HT build after only a year. Not having a project drives me nuts, lol. My wife is just shaking her head as I'm redoing everything.

I have everything in place (the 1124, mic, and external soundcard) but have not EQ it yet. I will get started on it in a few days. I am not in a huge hurry because the IB sounds AMAZING!!!!! I have had 10+ commercial subs, built huge DIY subs, and NOTHING, I mean NOTHING compares to the IB. I plan on EQing it, but do not know how it can get any better.

I was hoping you wouldn't say that, lol. I am currently running a PB12/2 ultra, and have really been chewing on a DIY sub setup. I really wish I could do an IB, but I don't really have the setup for it without compromising sound proofing.

I have had a few SVS subs also. I have had dual PB12/2+'s and also a B4+. Both were great subs. If you can do an IB do it! If not, there are a lot of great DIY options that commercial sub's can't match for the money.

What's on the wall behind the chair on the right as your facing the chairs?
wondering what color the frame is and what it's for. I would presume acoustic treatments.

Oh, looks nice by the way!!

I love this build - I think it is what many of us "new to the game" people are looking for. You have this built on carpet and used your existing walls - obviously different from most threads on here that start their theater from the studs and work inward.

Thanks for a great build thread.

I did make the light boxes for the poster frames in the theater. There is a thread around here somewhere that I used for the idea.

Yea the lighting around the screen and rack really turned out good. I have it on a IR plug so I can tuen them on and off with my harmony. It is nice not to have to get up and turn the lights on.

Awesome job on the HT setup. You're a real inspiration for all the DIY folks here. Did you have any professional woodworking experience? I've seen custom installs that don't come close to your setup. GREAT JOB!!
