Thought I'd provide this link to a review of the Panasonic VT-20 plasma. It's the most comprehensive I've seen, and based on the demo I saw, it has some observations that I found useful.

I can't speak to how reliable this web site is. I'm not familiar with it.

Highly unlikely.

The primary difference is the ability to do 3D.
