I was wondering how many people out there actually own a 3D tv? I'm assuming there is a good number of you.

My other question was is it hooked up to the net so that you are able to access something like youtube? I've seen that youtube now offers content in 3d and wanted to see if you all are accessing it.

The Mits WD-73735 set I have doesn't have any networking capabilities. Really don't need it anyway since both my PS3 and DirecTV receivers can access the net.

Update, on my Samsung c8000 you cannot access 3d while using the youtube app on the TV. There is a work around just use an external source for like the blue ray player and you can use it. The one real issue is video quality of youtube can very and is mostly low quality. But if you can find high quality side by side video then you are good to go.

Good to know.

What are the youtube 3d settings you use for your Samsung? I saw there are a lot of options under the 3D dropdown.

At the moment my wife and I have a mac mini hooked up to our tv that allows us to view everything on the net on our current tv. I plan on purchasing a 3d tv within the next few months.

I used my Samsung bd-c6900 blue ray player, the youtube app doesn't give you much options but search n play video. If you hook your computer to the TV you will get full access to player options. The TV supports side by side, top bottom, checker board, and two other formats I'm not sure what they are. But as far as 3d goes it covers everything.

I have a Samsung 63" 3D plasma and 6900 3D BluRay player. The 6900 comes with built-in wireless internet support and I've accessed the net that way. Haven't done much with YouTube but I did stream my first movie thru VuDu today and was very, very pleased with the PQ (practically BluRay quality).

I don't remember seeing Youtube or Hulu Plus as one of the apps in the Mits menu. I'm not a big Youtube person because of long wait times and bad quality. Maybe they are changing that. I was looking forward more to netflix support, but the TV doesn't have that either. Now they may update the apps at a later time to support this stuff but right now, there really isn't anything wowing with the Mits TV apps.

Yea I'm debating on creating some 3d content now and was wondering if I could view it through YouTube on the tv or vimeo and it sounds like I would through my mini once it's connected to the tv.

Plus I wanted to see if I could share the videos I make with everyone.

As long as you post a 1920x1080i60 SbS squashed file then anyone with a 3DTV or 3D Vision setup can use it.

It would be even better if you also provided dedicated left and right 1080p files for those of us with 3D Vision setup (or a SbS video with 3840*1080 res for full frame per eye since we can use this too).
