Never heard of that happening before.
Need to know more information such as computer, video output resolution, frequency in hertz, connection, also did you label the TV input as PC?
This is a 50 Hertz television is it not?

Right, working now. I don't know how, and why.... After I've tried it in HDMI 1 like you mentioned it during the tutorial, still didn't work. Then I was doing something else, I've started watching other 3D content and seen the option already. So all fine now! And I made my first 3D photo with the straight flash bracket and two Samsung NV7 camera. Used the tutorial and..........perfect! Thanks Frank!!! Any other tips/tricks for me?

I'm very happy for you and happy I was able to help.
That's what I'm here for.
I have more tips then I can possible supply but I'll give it some thought and get back to you. I'm kind of busy at the moment as the trucking company is arriving to remove my Samsung PN64D8000 that I am returning as it seems the new 2011 Samsung plasmas don't support checkerboard anymore thus rendering them useless for people like you and me.

Just finished loading the Samsung PN64D8000 on the truck and finally it's out of here. Yeah!!

No more limited functionality 3D televisions are allowed in this house!

Good riddance! No thank you Samsung!

As I sit here typing this with my 3D glasses on I'm thinking with absolute certainty that all the time I've spent with 3D in the last year has been worth it to get to this point.
I'm watching a confrontation between deer and young fox cubs live in 3D and it's got to be the most amazing thing I've ever done or seen.
It's too bad no one on this particular forum seems interested.

Thanks, I appreciate that for sure.
The problem is that in order for me to do what I'm doing I need 3DTVs with checkerboard support and the 3D manufacturers are not supporting it and even Samsung dropped it from their 2011 plasmas.
It's very discouraging.

I'm working on a 3D wildlife documentary shot entirely around my house and a key element of the production are my 3D television sets.
Most of the video is shot remotely and viewed live with my Samsung 3D glasses.
I was planning on doing much of the cinematography from the comfort of my living room couch or from the comfort of a theater chair.
Most of the work has been done while sitting in my office chair, staring at my Samsung UN40C7000 3D desktop TV/monitor.
When my Samsung PN63C7000 arrives in a week or so I hope to start cinematography from the living room couch. My aching back needs it bad.

By the way, some of the documentary footage was shot by me while I was on my treadmill.
Here is a short sample I shot yesterday with a hand rig I threw together for general work.

Every once and a while I take my 3D glasses off and walk outside with one of my hand held 3D cameras and in this particular case it was one of my JVC GS-TD1 camcorders.
Here is what happened this morning.

It's a YouTube 3D video by the way.

Just took delivery of my Samsung PN63C7000. No obvious damage.
Got my fingers crossed in the unlikely event that helps.
Once I get some help to mount it where my Pioneer Kuro currently resides I can continue producing my 3D wildlife video from the living room couch instead of my uncomfortable office chair.

I may have to start collecting these 2010 Samsung Plasmas as they are rapidly disappearing with no replacement forthcoming.

Unfortunately, now that the PN63C7000 has arrived I need to start preparing for the demo I have been promising some people.
My plan is the automate as much as possible using my main computer and a freeware program called Eventghost which I have used for some time.
The plan is to start by playing a home made 3D Blu-Ray of some of my best wildlife videos followed by a demonstration of how I acquired it via remote control including showing the audience multiple live 3D video feeds from various cameras with independent control of pan/tilt/zoom/record/etc.
Eventghost will take care of all the mouse movements, clicks, infrared commands to the receiver,tv,etc.
Should be fun especially when I explain this is not possible except on a few select 3D televisions.

The new PN63C7000 is a Winner!
It's my best 3D computer monitor yet...
The very first thing I watched on it last night after getting it set up was live foxes in 3D, broadcast from my back yard.
Here is a YouTube of exactly what I was watching live in 3D from my living room couch.

A bear and her three tiny cubs just came into my backyard.
First time I've seen them. Unfortunately they showed up just as it was too dark to shoot any 3D video.
However, I expect them to return during the day soon and I'll be ready.

Momma bear and her three cubs are regular visitors now.
I am shooting lots of 3D video of them and the video looks fantastic on my new Samsung PN63C7000.
Because this model supports checkerboard I am able to observe the bears live in 3D and watch the previous days video in 3D at the same time among other things.

From Frank to the 3DTV manufacturers; "Don't even try to sell me a 3D TV or 3D projector if it doesn't support checkerboard mode!"
.

Here's a 3D anaglyph from one of the clips I shot yesterday.

Here is a YouTube 3D video of the bear cubs as they climb to the top of the very special tree that used to house a eagle nest where the bears used to live.
