I was able to pick up this TV with the 3d Transmitter and a pair of 3D glasses for a price that I could not pass up. I searched the forums and online for reviews but could not find anything besides the specs for the LED. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this LED or that if it was rebranded with a different product number, what would be the original product number from Sony so that I could research the LED some more for optimal viewing. Here are the specs and some pics:

I recently bought one of these for use as a multimedia PC monitor. Im not sure if your using it for that, but i'll put everything i know down anyway.

In no particular order:
1. I've read that the NX711 is an NX710 with a 3D kit (glasses, emitter) which means you should be able to consult NX710 reviews as well to get calibrated settings, but i haven't looked myself.
2. Sharpening kills text
3. The "picture" setting greatly helps bring back some of the lost brightness in 3D mode, but increases crosstalk.
4. Putting the "color" setting around 85 returns some of the lost colors in 3D mode.
5. IMO every single pre-set setting is horrible, but i prefer vibrant colors and bright lights.
6. Be sure to lock any guns you might own or other weaponry away before attempting to figure out what the Cinemotion and Motionflow settings do and how they might interact with each other.
7. Your limited to 720p @120hz for gaming because of the HDMI connection.
