Best Buy has these on sale again for $299. I'm really tempted to pick one up.

I'm sure enough ppl have bought or tried this out, so how does the 3d compare to other 3d monitors or even bigger 3dtvs compare with the ps3 active shutter glasses. in terms of ghosting and crosstalk and even suggested settings for best 3d would be welcome.

I suppose everyone must know that the Playstation display is $299.00 at Bestbuy with two, I say two pairs of glasses and two games included. It's funny they have it with one pair and one game for $399.00, a hundred more.

The glasses were $69.99 Ea. That's $140. That leaves $70 for the games. The monitor is free. How can people pass this up?

was this $299 deal with two games an in store only deal? Or is it just expired. They have the set now for $299 but it's with one pair of glasses and one game.

For Canucks, EBGames.ca has a good deal on this display until May 31.

$249 gets you:

Playstation 3D Display
Motorstorm
3D Glasses

+ Another set of 3D Glasses
+ MLB 12

I sold the games for $75 and kept the 2 pairs of glasses and the panel and ended up paying $200 even after tax. Promo is on their main site.

EBgames in the states has the bundle in store for $299.

I went ahead and did it.

Tax made it $330

Got the display, two pairs of glasses, motorstorm 3, and MLB 2012 The Show for $330.

I'll sell the two games to try to re-coup $50 bucks or so. Then I'll have the display and two pairs of glasses for $275ish -- not bad I guess.

I hope it works well as a computer monitor as I would really want the thing to double up as a computer monitor/console gaming item.

I'm VERY impressed. Either I got a good one or these are EXCELLENT monitors. One of the best, if not the best monitor I've ever used, and that includes a Soyo Topaz M-PVA, and a Toshiba IPS, along with the standard TN cruddy monitors.

One thing of note - when I first hooked the monitor up with my GTX 560 TI it looked horrible. The drivers weren't loaded or something. I was thinking yuck, no wonder people don't really like this. It's washed out and the resoution didn't look native.

I installed my GTX670 card and hooked it up again. WOW, what a difference. It looks VERY nice!!!

For $250 with 3d capability at amazon -- I'll strongly recommend this display!!!! Or for $300 at EBGames with two games, two glasses bundle.

I think the PC drivers for this monitor are only in Geforce 6xx series cards though!?!?!? But when it's working it looks VERY nice indeed.

It works with the 6xx series as well as all AMD cards.

IMO. AMD cards work better for 3D with this display vs nVidia. That's the only thing I don't like about nVidia cards.

AMD doesn't require the 3DPLAY crap that nVidia does. AND you can turn 3D on an off while in the game. You don't have to actually leave it.

Is it just me or does this display have HORRIBLE motion blur? Like, as bad as an old 25ms panel?

I don't notice a even a tiny bit of motion blur. What graphics card are you using. I've played a lot of pc games on it with my gtx 670. No prob - except the rare blank screen momentarily that comes back after just a second.

I'm using a Radeon HD 6870, but it also happens with my PS3 and 360 so I'm sure it isn't the source that's causing the problem. It's very obvious if I just move a window around on the desktop. Switching the picture mode from standard to dynamic seems like it might have helped a tiny bit, but not much.

That's very surprising with 240hz. I know that's all interpolation but it's supposed to remove motion blur. I haven't seen it on my ps3 display with any input.

you might have a defective unit. I've heard of that complaint before, but it definately isn't occurring with mine. I played a full day of Diablo 3 on the monitor, I played some first person shooter games, and some racing games. I didn't notice it in the slightest. I've played it on the Xbox 360 and didn't notice it either on Gears of War in 3d.

I haven't tried it much in 3d, and haven't yet tried it on the PS3 at all. Is it normal mode or 3d mode that's giving your problems?

I bought this guy a while back from Best Buy when it was on sale but I just wasn't impressed with it. I went back to my ASUS VE258Q.

The Sony store in the Topanga Mall in Woodland Hills. CA is closing. They have these displays at $150, and the 3D glasses for $35 on closeout. Also other Sony stuff including BD-REs, Blu-rays, PS3 games, Bloggies, etc all at 15%-50% off of retail. $400 down to $150 for the display, glasses and Motorstorm is pretty decent!

Did anyone successfully swap out the stand on these?
