I am really having trouble comparing Panasonic 3d glasses. Even Panasonic's website doesn't give full product comparison and at best I notice only difference in look and price.

Any suggestions on what's best for the 50" GT30?

In my opinion the best is the model TY-EW3D2ME.

The ones that comes with the Avatar kit are great. I don't know the model # but they are super light and I think they have 3 different sizes.

I say get the latest (3rd gen) ones; lighter, and they charge faster than the second gen (that came with avatar) plus they are cheaper.

Does anyone know how these are sized? Mediums seems to be available, but I'm thinking I may need large, but have not seen any sizing info anywhere.

I believe Amazon has the measurements listed but the medium size fits most people pretty well.

length of the earpiece appears to be the only difference:

Dimensions: (W x H x D/ without Nose Pad)

L
170.6mm x 42.2mm x 170.7mm
(6.72" x 1.67" x 6.73")
M
167.7mm x 42.2mm x 170.7mm
(6.61" x 1.67" x 6.73")
S
160.5mm x 42.2mm x 170.7mm
(6.61" x 1.67" x 6.73")

My bad, got my glasses today and I see they do vary in width, sorry peeps. The depth dimension on the smalls should read 167.6mm however, Amazon misprint.

What bout these: http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-TY-E...=3399ER5R6AD9I

Looks like a better buy if they are as good as the others. They are 3rd generation and out of stock at the moment. That's because a short time ago, per camel, they were going for under $125.

I bought that set from Best Buy...they were the only place I could find them a couple months ago. I don't understand why these are so hard to find.

I have a 60ST30. The glasses are fine I guess....they do what they say they will. I have only watched two movies in 3d so far, Cap America and Drive Angry, so I haven't seen any real eye popping 3d. I am waiting for Rio 3D to arrive and am hoping that gives a better 3d experience.
