Well loads ,but can take 2 easy ones like when u "scann"for objects ,on the hmz-1 u barly can see the glow of the objects vs the glow of a reular screen

In the forest with the hmz-1 the bear traps is hardly noticeble of the non define colours but on a regular screen they easly seen on the forest ground

Think my future usage on the hmz-1 with games will only be fps games and 3D games of the imersion it gives

If you read this, I am Richard Surroz mentioned (was contractor for NVIDIA for this tour). The initial requirements for 3dVISION where a 9800 series GPU. This tour was when 3dTVPlay was first announced. The reason the laptop GPU requirements as set to based on acceptable frame rates since stereoscopic gaming causes about a 50% hit since each frame is rendered twice. NVIDIA spends a ton of development time on their drivers games require more and more from the GPU so I would expect to see the hardware requirements change and would not expect extremely hold gpus to be included due to not being feasible but also due to limitations in the cost of regression testing. Please keep in mind this is my observation and not coming from NVIDIA.

You will most likely not be able to upgrade your GPU. The rest of your system is probably way out of date. Save up for a new system or buy one off of ebay.

i have never played witcher, as i don't find it interesting.. but mind posting screenshot of the scanning?
with each post i start to believe even more that hmd is 'flawless' and it' just your eyes.. first the pixel grid, and now the glow?

screenshot can be taken with print screen button. why would u take the picture? just post the screenshot and i'll see it on my hmd.
what is vibrant color for you?

i opened the picutre i prepared for this board with 5% transparency.. an i can see that photoshopped grid! but not the actual one, coming out from the display. come on, what's wrong with u? the screen is 0.7 inch size - 1,77 cm with resolution 1280x720. how 'big' are the lines? you are trolling hard now.

colors.. it's all about settings. my iiyama screen doesn't provide vivid colors as my plasma - but can be made comparable after making adjustments! same thing goes with hmz-t1.. don't like something, adjust it! there are some settings in hmz-t1 menu, but don't forget about control panel on your pc.

Oh my seems this gnna take a while ... same pixles grid on movies aswell and no before u ask its not beta max, vhs , super vhs ,cdi , laser disc or dvd

Any hd signal u give the hmz-1 it still will only give 720p at 150"

http://pixeldensitycalculator.com/

Lets u see how low the pixel density is on the hmz-1

Or this who let u see how big the pixels are at 1280x720 at 150" (2.59mm pr pixles)

there is a diffrence if u use xbox 360/ps3 input that in 90% of the games isn't even 720p. no wonder why u see pixels (not the pixel grid itself!!). use proper input and u will be satisfied with hmz-t1 quality.

there is a big diffrence between 720p and 1080p input that gets downscaled back to 720p. 1080p has just more details in movies.

your eyes are really strange.

Seems the 1080p i wrote was missed by u again... ohmy there more usage than gaming

Resolusion grid is on movies and gaming so its no need to act stupid the hmz-1 willl not give a better picture in 1080p than 720p

Read up on sum review who confirms what im saying easy...Than assuming

i think u re misunderstanding what i say.

play some youtube video at 720p - it will look good. now, play the same video in 1080p - it will look better than 720p due to more detailed frames, that then get resized to 720p to fit the screen. still, it looks better.

looks I have to stick to MKV side-by-sdie format by riping iso files then.

any further discussion with you is entirely pointless. stick to your awesome overpriced 15" lg oled screen with 'vibrant colors' that hmz-t1 is not able to provide due to 'cheaper used oled screens'. to anyone else - there is no pixel grid visible, colors are vibrant, 3D is awesome with a lot of depth and pop out, when properly configured. perfect blacks. unusable for longer period without few simple mods. highly recommended!

To guys who switched from 3D 1080p projectors and have been using this for a while... do you still think this is better than PJ?

I was all set up on HMD of some kind (this or upcoming ST1080) but looks like I'll be going with PJ and 140-150" screen after all... main selling point is support for 120HZ 1080p gaming (Panasonic 7000).

Currently no projector support 120hz 1080p gaming in 3D due to the interface bandwidth issue. For 3D, I prefer HMZ-T1. For pure 2D 1080p, I prefer my projector. As I mention few months back, DLP projector had a pop factor to it that doesn't exist on LCOS, LCD projector and HMZ-T1 too. But black level on HMZ-T1 is superb and color is actually good, just lack the DLP pop.

Are you playing in 2D or 3D? The pixel is not so obvious in 2D and totally undetectable in 3D mode.

480hz is internal refresh. As long as the projector do not have a dual link dvi, 1080p 120hz is impossible.

i've made another photoshop manipulation to show how the image looks thru HMD..
this time it's about colors.

vibrant on & off
the picture may have diffrent colors on monitors, but the top image should be much more vivid.

top image is what hmz panels show, with some customization availabe like making colors 'colder' etc. pass-thru is completly diffrent thing and is not related to image quality.

i may try to take some pictures.

Just to look at the gears of war3 pictures in the first page to see the lines and the no pop in colours thats how the hmz-1 is not the manipulated pictures shown here.

Just take a cheap led tv and even that will have more shine in the colour pallette than the hmz-1 is producing
