how do i activate side by side 3d when connected to my laptop via hdmi...i have side by side 3d movies downloaded and cant watch them.

Don't tell your TV it is conected to a computer. You probably need to be feeding the TV either 720p or 1080i/p.

Are your movies in frame sequential(page flipping) SBS format or are they in HDMI 1.4a 1/2R 1080i sbs format
What PC program are you using to play the 3D files?

I think with SBS you have to turn it on manually through the TV options on most TVs. I do on mine.
