I was just days from ordering a 65lw6500 from amazon but they no longer have any in stock. Idk if they'll have a 65" led LCD for 2012. I can't find any info. Anybody hear anything?

Good to hear. I have the 65LW6500 in my home but plan to return it. It's just to reflective for my taste. Have a lot of big windows where the tv goes. My mission is to find a tv that is matte or semi-gloss in the 65" range and that has passive 3D.

I was wondering what the differences will end up being between the two, if any. The specs say the new 65" will still be 120hz. I may hold out for the 72" and at least get a slight size bump.

Just checked and it is listed in stock from Amazon, albeit at $2600.

I am seeing pics of the the 6200 line and they do not look as glossy as I thought they would be. I had a 65LW6500 and returned it due to being almost mirror like. Wondering if the 65LM6200 is going to be the same or not.

I took a video of the LM9600 during my recent asia tour (stopped by korea). The video i took shows you the most glossiest/mirror-like you're going to get. That is with insane lighting everywhere and reflective floor tiles, etc. Even then its barely visible. I am going to get the 55LM9600 on the 12th. I will make a review then and show you .

Some models are already out like the LM 6 series. The LM9600 will be the last to arrive in stores while I heard the 84 incher is coming out in december. The one im doing the video on next week will be released probably in aug or sept. I'll keep you posted.

I am looking at the 65LW6500, but then saw news of the 65LM6200 coming out soon. Technically they look like they are pretty close to the same thing. From the posts on here, people seem to say 65LM6200 is less glossy than last years. But since the 65LM6200 is going to be $1K more than the 65LW6500, I don't think that is worth it.

Are there any other factors about the 65LM6200 that make it better than the 65LW6500?

I stopped by a Fry's store yesterday and they had the new LM6200 on display. While the other tvs were playing a live basketball game, they couldn't connect a cable to the 65LM6200, so were just playing the stock DVD. But in talking with the salesmen there, he pretty much told me that there was not any major technology improvement over the 65LW6500. Only major difference was a thinner bezel and matte display. So I'm going to save $1K and get the 65LW6500.
