We are a group of students from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo. We are conducting some research about the 3D industry for a class project. We are particularly interested in 3DTV owners. We have created a survey and would love if you would take a couple minutes to fill it out.

Took your survey but the social media part is kind of stupid because you should change manufacturer website to just website because I use Amazon to compare products and it isnt the manufacturers website but it is the closest answer I could give on a couple of questions.

"Group of students" implies scientifically oriented survey; this one looks like the typical corporate, for-profit, market/consumer survey. No trust, no respect, no free information from me.

The question about where you go to talk about and share 3D products should have included forums like this one and websites that review and have news on consumer electronics. That's where I go 95% of the time. That's why I only checked "Other."

We're marketing students. This project is supposed to simulate a real-world marketing project, and we might very well conduct a similar such survey in our future jobs. Thanks for the compliment that it looks like a real corporate survey; that means we did even better than expected.
