Does the Optoma TX511 work well with the 3D XL?

I bought a 3D XL and found out the hard way that it won't work with my BenQ "3D Ready" projector which will only allow DLP Link to be turned on using VGA.

I am looking at a lower priced option for a new projector since I have already invested in the 3DXL.

Thanks.

You could get an HDMI to VGA converter.

Thanks Stoney. I tried that and as soon as I set the 3D XL into 3D mode, I would lose the signal. I threw everything but the kitchen sync at it.
