Hi guys!
Have anyone of you managed to add custom resolutions to the HMZ-t2? Meaning that you pushed the 60hz refresh rate to above and beyond?

I am trying to get +60hz in 2D mode.

Best regards

Victor

You may don't want to do that since it can mess up the OLED. Sony HMZ-T2 OLED is 60hz, anything higher can mess it up.

I bought one of these this week and have to say I'm very disappointed with it.

The head set is very uncomfortable to wear, you have to keep adjusting it every few mins or so as it keeps moving. If it moves a millimeter off everything is out of focus.

All the wires are a pain to sort out everytime you want to use it. OK if you have it set up for use all the time.

You can't really do anything else while watching a video on it, unlike if you were watching a normal TV. For instance you can't use a computer and watch something using it, unlike if you were watching a TV.

Playing a PS3 game the resolution goes down to 720p, so look like a PSone game rather than a PS3 game.

Unless you are watching a HD channel or Bluray the image quality is cloudy. Something I don't see on a normal TV.

The viewer is only woth £500 or so, IMO, certainly not over £1000.

I was hoping for an immersive experience, instead I get an annoying experience like having my head trapped in a vice while being forced to watch an SD video.
