Thanks!

Going to buy the G15 for the price...

I purchased the g15's and find them great value. I have no issues with their performance.

A flaw I noticed with one G15 pair I have, is that it won't power off with the power button. I have to pull the battery out.

I haven't tried either of those yet. I wouldn't sweat the Incredisonic's not being in stock as they had an inherent flaw where images in 3D were always inverse and you had to manually switch EVERY time with a button press. Some guests might not remember or not correctly do it and get nausea from being fed images to opposite eyes

There is currently nothing better than the Estar America glasses in my experience

Ordered W1070 during last week. While waiting for it to arrive what better than to read 800+ posts about the glasses for it. I though I could do a quick recap of the glasses more important glasses considered in this thread.
1. BenQ D3. Were considered the reference standard in performance but uncomfortable to the nose. Have been discontinued by the new model (D4) but no "reviews" here to the latest model that have a more reasonble price of around $60.
2. SainSonic 144Hz. The original budget glasses, had problems blocking reds and with sincronization but back then nothing came colse to its price. New SainSonic models have been released that are also compatible with the W1070 but not much interest in reviewing them here.
3. TrueDepth version 3.5: (http://truedepth3d.com/store/products/true-depth-3d-dlp-link-glasses/) were priced by many by its picture quality but some had problems with noise or syncing. Outstanding customer service. Have been replaced by Firstorm XL ( http://truedepth3d.com/store/products/true-depth-3d-firestorm-xl-premium-quality-dlp-link-rechargeable-3d-glasses-with-steadysync-tm-technology/ ) and I have not seen complain about them (probably only price).
4. 3DTV Corp DLP2-2 ( http://www.amazon.com/DLP-LINK-3D-Glasses-Projectors-Mitsubishi/dp/B004G2VJM6/ ) Regarded as one best of the budget quality glasses. It has mixed reviews here but still a good choice in the "value" segment.
5. YDD4PG ""Lime Heaven" or YDD4PG "Blue Heaven" models. There are positive reviews of these colorful models. Dificult to spot if there is a difference but by far the most afortable are the 3DTV Corp version in blue (http://www.amazon.com/Generation-DLP-Link-Glasses-Projectors-Mitsubishi/dp/B00E1S65EM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1401221201&sr=8-1&keywords=3dTV+corp). They are very similar to the original OPTOMA ZD302. They are remarkable by their "clarity" of the image but it's been argued that because of that the ghosting is more noticeable.
6. EStar America ESG601 ( http://www.amazon.com/EStar-America-ESG601-Link-Glasses/dp/B00CRN3D98/ ): Excelent reviews here and in Amazon but we need more comparison points. Some argue that are the same as the Optoma ZD301 at half the cost.
7. G15-DLP. The new budget king. Several Chinese vendors sell them in ebay with worldwide delivery included for less than $12. Incredible performance considering the price have been reported. The drawbacks are more related to the design.

Hope this helps to new people trying to gather information from this thread. Your observations and comments to the above selection are welcomed.

The problem with most of the glasses, and many on this list is that a lot of them have 2 unacceptable performance issues:

1. Color tinting. Turn your head to one side or another and the color temperature changes
2. Eye switching. Looking at you Sainsonic Rainbows and Incredisonic (amongst others I'm sure).
Always seem to come on with the inverse of the correct eye sequence. You have to manually press the button to switch back to the correct eye sequence

Eliminate those glasses with the above problems, and only a handful are left including the Benq glasses, the Estar America, the cheap G15's (and maybe a couple others I haven't tried yet)

For the price I had to try a couple pairs of the G15-DLP.  I will get a couple pairs of the EStar America ESG601 also.  Thanks for all the reviews.  I will try to post back once I get everything set up and can try them.  I haven't even started setting the room up yet though so it might be awhile lol.

The EStar America ESG601 are listed as 'currently unavailable' on Amazon. Are they likely to return?

I got a couple of G15s today based on the comments in here. They came from China amazingly quickly. They were sent on 27 May and here in UK already.

I am very pleased with them. Amazing image for the money. I even think they are better than the BenQ ones I got with the W1070. The BenQ ones change the colours when you move your head about. The G15s don't. The only real negative is that they are slightly uncomfortable to wear and the arms are fiddly to attach and detach. They left a slight mark on the bridge of my nose too but maybe I can add some padding or something. £13.80 for 2 pairs I thought was a bargain

Thanks just ordered a second pair. With the coupon on Amazon it comes out to 33.24 so about 1.75 off

Yeah I didn't see it the first time around but the code is actually on their amazon page, but I figured others would have missed it too. Not that it's a whole heck of a lot smile.gif

These Hishock ones dont have that problem and I dont think it even has a button to change between left and right.
One thing I wasnt expecting was how comfortable these are, theyre alot lighter than the sainsonics so theyre almost as comfortable as the passive glasses on my LG. And yes Im wearing them over my glasses.

So yeah imo dont bother going cheap, just get these. And if you dont live in the US get them from Aliexpress since the shipping is the cheapest.
One more thing I should mention. These use some obscure miniusb connection that Ive never seen before, so make sure you dont lose the cables it comes with.

Hi ssjLancer, did you experience any problems with these glasses. I just got mine today and see that they lose sync on certain scenes, I got two pairs and both of them do the same thing at the same scene. I have dimensional optics and they don't have this problem.
