Well, not for me. smile.gif
I've had the T1, T2 and now the T3. The T3 is dramatically sharper, comfortably lighter, and just a better unit.
I do have a problem with the wireless signal shutting off, even when the unit is sitting next to the transmitter. I may have to exchange mine...

have you charged the battery unit to 100%? try to connect the battery unit to the charger and check if drops again. I have no such issues even if I move 5m away from the base station.

Thats not a sale as its the standard price [+ markup] for the wired-only model which, so far hasnt shown up in NA that I can see and which is what is being sold on that listing.

The description states that as well and the pic of the complete set shows the box saying HMZ-T3 which is the wired version where the wireless version would state HMZ-T3W.

I can snag the wireless model for around $750. Thinking about using some holiday cash and pulling the trigger on this for use with the Xbox One and PS4.

you better use it with PS3 for now. no 3d games support on PS4 yet! and on PS3 a lot of good games in 3d and in native 720p. also - killer with Cinemizer OLED head tracker!

Hello everyone!

Despite the persistent comfort issues I decided to buy the T3W :D. Here in Italy the device costs € 1.300 (about $ 1.750 !!!) so I was planning to buy it in the USA to save up some money… could someone with the American version of the T3W confirm wether the device comes with the Italian localization or not?! Thank you very much!

Actually there's one game (Trine 2) supports 3d on PS4. I've tried the demo version for Trine 2 in 3d on my T3W. It seems nice. I'm thinking to buy a full version soon.

I have it and will try with T3 later on today. However compare with PS3 the choice of the 3d games I would say does not exist. Hope it will change in the future...

I was going to say, with a system that has 4K capabilities like the PS4 I'm pretty sure it comes 3D ready. I wouldn't be surprised if you were talking about the Xbox ONE 'cause that one only reaches 720p and if it didn't include 3D it certainly would no surprise me.

We are now taking pre-orders for HMZ-T3 Comfort 3 cushion pads.

This is a pre-order only, orders will begin shipping December 20th to the first few who ordered first. Orders will be served on a first come first serve basis with no exceptions. So get your order in ASAP to reserve a spot in line!

Due to popularity we expect many orders so please be patient as it may take some time even after December 20th to get orders made and shipped. Remember, each
set is made by hand and takes about a day to complete. We choose quality over speed for our customers as we want you to have the best product.

These will help with comfort issues, raising the HMZ-T3 a bit off your nose and taking pressure off your forehead.

More information can be found at www.Blazin3D.com under our products section

Hi, I thought I would put in my thoughts for others thinking of buying.

They are really good. Takes about 5 min to adjust to your head.
Can be powered and charged as you use it.
To describe best how big the screen is it's like sitting in an IMAX cinema in the middle middle.
Bright crisp picture.

Only discomfort I had was the little red mark left from the pad but goes away without any bruises.

I would highly recommend this to any travellers or enthusiasts. Superb with the laptop and ps3.

Cheers

Ian

I don't understand. What else would you want me to put? I could take a picture of it or something? That's my opinion based on what people were asking. I see too many people on the net complaining about it and wearing it wrong. There were not enough proper vids on YouTube. So I thought I would come here where there seemed to be more experienced people and owners.

Sorry you don't understand. Didn't realise this forum attacked new members of one post. I had some respect for this forum since it was people who had some common sense.

Are you two a good example of what I'm told a troll is then?

I suppose you learn something new everyday. Sony brochure. Lol. I thought we were talking about the HMZ-T3 and it's benefits, why would people buy it and what advice does one have for people thinking about getting like I was for ages.

If you actually read my post, I am defending you smile.gif

Those two lines of yours I quoted are a knock against the item which a real shill would never have posted.

Also, everything you said in your original post has been said before so either everyone on this thread is a shill or none of them are.

And if you ARE plugging a product on this thread, you are not the only one, and, to be clear, I dont have ANY issues with the other person doing it as, IMO, they are providing a really useful service.

I just don't have the time to waste talking about people's posts like that. I put in my comments as I didn't think anyone did mention you can charge it as you use it. Also no one actually clarified the size or feel of the hmz. I commented my opinion. Then someone slates me lol. Ah well. I got better things to do mate than try and feel clever on a forum.

take it easy mate! nothing is wrong with your post - you like the product - you share your view with the others. some people like more critical reviews as nothing is perfect on this planet. I hate the light shields, especially the lower one which comes off constantly. it's still not optimised for the eye glasses wearers..... if you have no such issues - you should say that lower weight and 1080p would be very beneficial! smile.gif

I think I'm going to pick up T3 this Sunday since my T2 kicked the bucket. And I think over here they only stock the Wireless unit.

I look at the video of the wireless T3 unit, and it seems more cluttered compare to T2. Now the PSU for the processor unit is external, there is seperate PSU for wireless/battery unit. There seems to be more cables. And the distance is only 5m (7m with a stand). And I don't think it can go through walls.

Can you use the wireless T3 unit, wired ? that is detach the wireless/battery unit and connect it straight to the processor ?

Is the wired unit only available in Japan ?

Thank you.

I had linked to the Sony support page in an earlier post that had a downloadable PDF of the manual.
You should give the manual a thorough read to understand how it works before you buy it.

The main difference between the HMZ-T3 and its earlier predecessors is that it needs the battery unit to power it whether you use it in wired or wireless modes.

The wireless version can be used in both modes.
The wired version can only be used wired.

The battery unit is required to operate the device regardless of which mode you use it in.
The data cable from the HMZ-T3 to the battery unit is non-removable and transmits the power and video to the HMZ-T3 regardless of which mode you use it in.
Also, there is no HDMI jack or any other jack of any kind on the HMZ-T3 itself.

So far from the posts here and my own research in USA and Canada, the wired version has not shown up in NA, only in Japan, and buying from Japan is not an option as the menu's on Japanese units are locked to the Japanese language.

We are now selling the Pitch Black light blocker and forehead pad for the HMZ-T3
Unlike Sony's horrible rubber light blockers "so they call them" Ours is made of a nice soft material and blocks 100% of light. It works so well you can use it outside to block the sun.
Our forehead pad helps with pressure from the T3's pad digging into your head and raises the T3 off your nose a bit. check,
