Greetings all,
My old Samsung monitor died on me so I bought a used LG D2770P monitor. Added bonus that it has 3D capabilities. Downside, I have no idea how to get it to work.
The Setup:
Monitor: LG D2770P, DVI connected
Video Card - Sapphire Radeon HD 6570 (100323L) 1024MB PCIe x16 Gen 2.1
OS: Linux Mint 15
Now, because I live in South Korea, getting info can be a challenge because my Korean isn't quite up to asking about technical things just yet. The monitor works fine, plays vids without any issues. I would just like to see if I can get the 3D aspect of it working. I have the 'theatre style' glasses that came with it (actually, one set of glases and one set of clip-ons, totally awesome because I already wear glasses).
I saw this in the manual " The 3D option OSD is enabled only for HDMI video timing." Just to be clear, does this mean I _have_ to have a HDMI cable to use 3D? If so, that would be slightly dissapointing.
