I tried PowerDVD13 with my HMZ-T1, but the only conversions I get on my Vaio CW are:

1. Anaglyph Red/Cyan Mode

2. 3D-Ready HDTV (Checkboard)

3. Micro-polarizer LCD 3D (Row-Interleaved)

None of those 3Ds are side by side or top to bottom, so my HMZ-T1 won't recognize them as 3D. I tried making the HMZ-T1 the primary and only display and I was still unable to get the side by side orr top to bottom option,

What I really like about 3D "LIVE" conversion is that I don't have to go through the whole process of converting a file an wasting time and computer space obtaining the new file.

So I was wondering if anyone knows of a software that does "LIVE" side by side or top to bottom 3D conversion?

I looked for months and gave up mate, ended up buying a 3d demuxer/muxer. which can split a 3d movie on the fly(live) or do side by side or top and bottom 3D.(geo 201 box by VNS)

Using it for my soon to be finished/setup 3d passive setup.

Thanks man. The fact that you had been looking for it for months show me that my frustration is not exclusive. Thanks for recommending the converter, but isn't that one of those boxes that just converts the videos to the blue and yellow glasses typr of 3D like the 3D Wizard box converter? "cause I want to use it for my HMZ-T1 and that won't work with it.

Also I looked into their website and I guess they don't sell a 201, only a 303 and a 501, I wonder if those serve the same purpose and which on is better.

Stereoscopic Player outputs in Side-by-side; does not do 2D-to-3D conversion, though, if this is what the post was also about.

Sorry, poor English.

If you want to play 2D or 3D material in Side-by-side, you can use the application Stereoscopic Player. The 2D material will not be stereoscopic.

If you also want the 2D video converted to simulated 3D, which PowerDVD does, but Stereoscopic Player AFAIK does not, you may look at this and the related blog links.

PowerDVD doesn't, at least not in the Side By Side or Top and Bottom format. Does VirtualDub converts to side by side in real time?
