Hi, I hope to soon buy a c8000 plasma. I'm being offered the upgrade 3D kit and I have a few questions about it. Here's the offer I'm getting:

Includes the Samsung BDC5900 3D BR Player, Samsung SSG-P2100T 3D Starter Kit (2 3D Glasses & Movie) PLUS 2 extra SSG-2100AB 3D Glasses- 4 Glasses total.

Here's the questions:
  • I know that BR player is the low end. What are the drawbacks of that? Will its USB media player be worse than the others?
  • What is the difference in those 2 models of 3D glasses?
  • The cost of the kit is around $400 when I buy it with the panel, is that a good deal? I do like the idea of their being 4 glasses.

THANKS!

Here are the different Samsung 3D BD players so you can compare them:

The glasses are the same - battery operated

Samsung does make rechargable glasses but they are more expensive

Here is what you should pay for the PN58C8000:

-$2,500 for the 3DTV
-FREE 3D Blu-ray player
-FREE 3D Starter Kit (either MvA or HTTYD)
-Possibly additional 2 free 3D glasses depending on your negotiating skills
