I try yhe program makemkv but the only thing is do is to make an mkv for 2d television and NOT 3d so.....

MakeMKV now supports this, however I believe the only way you can play them in that format is through stereoscopic player, and that does not support 3d subtitles or something like that. So playback is the only real issue.

Many people here have used makemkv to rip Blu-ray 3D titles to mkv format. A media player like Mede8er can play them from a hard drive or network.

I am also interested in this topic Few years back I decided to get collection of MKV 3D with HD Sound (TrueHD and DTS-HD MA both 7.1) but after about 70 titles I realized my MKV 3D files were only 50% resolution, not necessary visible right away but trust me guys you do see it. Since then I have PowerDVD and ISO, Works 100% 3D, Menu, HD Sound basically complete experience. Last version of PowerDVD 14 I yet to have a single crash even when messing with settings while have 2 computer monitors AND 3DTV (in 3D mode) hooked up. Before it simply crash when more than 1 monitor (actual TV) were connected. So is there anything available at the moment that we can get 1080P in each eye while not using ISO ? Or nothing yet. Also I tried to do 3DMKV SBS but using H.265 (with latest DVDFab) and I must say I really think quality is getting better !

Alright thank you and let us know if anything new out there.

Latest makemkv supports full quality MKVs, video is copied completely unchanged, audio can be left unchanged or recoded (losslessly) info FLAC. Not sure which players supports these MKVs though, Stereoscopic player does.
