Just got a great deal on a Samsung 55" 7050. It was a display 2011 model and I picked it up for$1300. The 2D PQ is fantastic. It replaces a 50" Samsung DLP that was 7 years old and still working great on original lamp.

So now the upgrade fever has started. I've decided to go 3D and know I will need a 3D Blu-ray player. Also with my research so far, I also know I will need to upgrade my AV receiver for the faster HDMI 1.4 standard for the 3D signal.

My question is what is the best match of player and receiver to go with the Samsung 7050?

Onkyo has a great line of receivers that are 3D capable. Being a proud owner of one, I highly recommend them. As for which one, go with the THX2 certified ones, model to be how many watts you need.
