Please help I just purchased a new hard drive I'm on my 5th one now and found a good deal for a 3tb one...but my blu ray player won't recognise it....all my other ones work fine have 2 1tb a 1.5tb and a 2tb...is it because of the size of my new one that it won't recognise or does it need to be formatted for the player...fat32 will be no good to me because each file is either a blu ray or 3d blu ray movie and therefore at least 10 gig each

Most player only can upto 2Tb partition. You can try to recreate the partition less than 2TB. It is not related to FAT32.
