Hi all,

I'm probably going to buy one of the last of the TD10s soon as they are reasonably priced now- I really want the controllable aperture and focus control which my Bloggie doesn't have.

So I've trawled through these threads and lived every moment of people discovering how to edit their Sony MVC files (or not) but I'm left slightly confused by all the possibilities. Basically, I want to be able to make some short films and show them at the highest possible quality both projected and online. I do not need BluRay (24fps) and would be happy to render as a file which could be played from a laptop (even as anaglyph)- I would like 25p rather than 50i in my final render.

So can someone clarify if the following is possible:

record at 50i
edit in Magix Movie editPro MX plus (because Sony Platinum is very slow on my system)
output as a full 1080P 25fps SBS file.
Play from there.

This all sounds too simple too be true- what am I missing?, what's the catch?

Many thanks for any replies,

If the software is able to Import the MVC files (what I do not know) it should be able to render the result to side-by-side half. sbs half can be rendered as 1080 50i, so I see no reason why that should not work.

Kind regards,
