Sup guys, I recently bought an Optoma HD131Xe DLP projector. I got the Optoma zf2100 DLP-Link 3D glasses too. So I connected the projector to the glasses and to my PC via HDMI 1.4a.

The PC currently only has the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 as a video card, but an Nvidia GTX 670 will be arriving soon (I figured 3D had to work without Nvidia 3DTV Play too).

I set the projector to 3D DLP-Link Mode, started playing an SBS movie with Stereoscopic player, but none of the settings gave me 3D.

I've got absolutely no clue how to set up 3D and just assumed it would be working out of the box. This is not the case.

Am I missing drivers/software/hardware, or am I just too stupid?

Two things to check:

1) Are you feeding the projector with an HDMI signal? 3-D via VGA analog normally cannot be enabled in most 3DTVs and projectors.

2) Are you feeding a confirmed 1920x1080 24hz or 60hz signal to the projector? Again, some 3D displays cannot enable 3-D modes on non-standard resolutions or with SD/480i signals.

Thanks. Yes, I am feeding an HDMI signal with 1080p60. I've never gotten the 3D to work, except my Nvidia card arrived and thankfully the 3DTV Play driver was very easy to install and everything works now. smile.gif

Your problem wasn't really the video card, it was the player. I read in another thread that Stereoscopic player won't cause an Intel video card to output 3D. It works with the NVidia because there is a separate 3D driver that you installed. My laptop has an Intel HD3000 video card, and it outputs 3D just fine when used with PowerDVD13 and attached via HDMI to my display. No separate driver needed.
