Impressive. I was able to select the 8k video and watch on my 1080p screen. Of course, it was scaled, but the quality in all directions was maintained around a 4k level of quality by comparison. I see, they are using a bank of their 4k cameras to do this. I have two of the cameras and they look the same as what is on the camera holder. Of course 8K (33meg) is the size of the complete image, not the 16:9 view you see on the screen. I'm impressed by the stitching technology, which is greatly improved. Also interesting that the size of the file is about 500GB!! There has to be a full blown computer with big hard drive on board to make this work in real time I would think.
